Stay at home mom, married for too many years, dealing with issues at home. Has a joint account with husband but wants to be more independent. Can she open a Money market account with the money she gets weekly form her husband without having to explain the bank how she gets it? She wants to protect herself and safe money “in case” she ever divorces. Also, will she only pay taxes on the interests earned on the money she deposited since the husband already paid to the IRS?

Am I crazy? I am 19 years old and the only thing I can think of being is a stay home mom. Most of my friends say that I should work and have a career first and then think about having a baby later on when I am older. It seems to make sense but it is not what I want to do.

I really believe at 19 years old and all I want to do is be a stay home mom. I actually want to start having kids with in the next year. But everyone in my family thinks that I am crazy and that I am going to ruin my life. I just don’t know what I want to do? Can someone suggest something? Any advice? Thank you.
