My friend started baking a basket-full of pastries every morning. She would go to all the office buildings and sell them. The office workers were so busy that they couldn't get out. They bought everything she made. One person asked her if she would like to be a personal chef at his house. She now cooks for a rich family and they love her. She has to be there for dinner 5 nights a week and some lunches. She loves her life. Have your mom get busy.

First put your trust in God. Try a part time in a job that is not too demanding, that should warm you up. Ask Jesus for Help.

She'd have to apply to be a vendor. Be prepared to provide a food license and tax ID.

Just about EVERY event in Texas requires a vendor application.

There is no crime in wanting to be a stay at home mother, there is also no crime in working to support your family.

If you are already at the minimum amount of expenses, then you need to consider increasing income. Maybe one of you should look for a better paying job to increase your income.

All of my kids were in daycare and to be honest they developed their social skills faster than those kids who stayed at home. As they are in school now, they are able to do things more independently than some of their friends and do not rely on us for ever detail. If the day care is a good one, then you have nothing to worry about.

After staying at home for 14 years and you have not stated whether you keep in touch with office work I imagine you are out of touch with the changes that are taking place out there.Since you have decided to go into the working world once again and those people of your age are perhaps more advanced than you and you will face much difficulties being a junior in an office if you do not mind that its OK.You may have to take orders and instructions from a very junior person in the office and received lower salary.

I suggest you go back and take up some courses or studies about doing your own business. You can start small but what ever you earn is yours. You set your own target and be independent. You do not have to come out with big capital. Most famous people start small and becoming big in a short while.some of the best time to do business is when the economy is in recession like what is happening in USA today. What ever it is I wish you luck and welcome to the real world.

I was going to suggest a temp agency. I know they take a percentage but the goal is to lead to stable employment. Also, temp agencies sometimes offer adult education classes at no charge like typing, computer skills, how to interview or write a resume, stuff along those lines. Just make sure you interview with a staffing agency that specializes in professional positions. Might want to steer clear of Labor Ready.

You have to sit down with your husband and talk if this will be financially good. Remember that your husband will be the only source of income. If after analyzing this and other topics, only you two can decide if you can and want to stay home.

Create Flyers or small post card size advertisements and pass them out around the neighborhood. Include a picture or description of your moms special dish and contact details. That way you can generate word of mouth business and people can have your card on hand when the topic of special engagements come up.
